Never give up on your #weightloss goals! It’s a lifestyle change, not a temporary get fine/ summer body/ just to fit in the dress/ doing it for him or her plan. You must do it for yourself! They say most people gain the weight they’ve lost plus some within one year of losing it. Last year I had to check myself! Even though I was still lighter than the 194 I lost in 2011, I was working my way back up there shortly after the wedding. The pics above are comparisons of me in the dress I wore to the #worldnaturalhairshow crowning affair for the #worldnexttopnaturalhairmodel . I practically had to stuff myself in the dress last year! By April, I had already gained close to 20 lbs of the 50 I lost. I was suckin it in and almost spilling out of the top. My face was getting fatter… I had to stop, pray, and think about how far I had come. I look at the pic of me in the dress today and think about how grateful I am! I could have easily stayed on the path of self destruction by stuffing my face, being l lazy, and making excuses. But I turned it around! Finding strength in the Lord, support from my sisters ( workout buddies), my husband changed his diet ( at least around me), and digging deep within! Reflection is important… we live and we learn… and I’m grateful for that!
